Karl has been with United Group for almost a decade, starting as an Operator, and we’ve never seen him without a smile—especially when operating an excavator! Today, he’s a Team Lead on projects, and it makes sense that Karl’s favourite thing about United is the opportunity to grow your skills. Who knows where he’ll be in a few years!

Tyson is one of our many examples of how effort every day creates results. From his early days as a Labourer to working his way up to Operator, Tyson is always constantly learning as much as possible about new equipment. You’ll often see him operating a dozer or helping the crew—Tyson’s favourite part of United is the people he works with!

Ryan works hard—as evidenced by his growth at United over the past decade. Ryan started as an Equipment Operator, and has since been a Senior Operator, a Foreman, and now, a Site Superintendent working on more than 75 projects. Ryan comes to work every day excited to see how our work impacts the community and the economy.

Rusty is a skilled operator and the funny guy of the group, which makes his hybrid role at United perfect for him. He gets to see everything come together—the project and the crew—and also gets to jump in a machine (the Packer is his favourite), listen to music, and get the job done. Rusty loves to work and is often caught working weekends.

Terry stepped off a plane from Ireland and onto United Group’s radar. He’s a talented Project Coordinator who, when he’s not working, takes in everything BC has to offer. Terry loves the culture at United Group, especially the family atmosphere, and we’re excited to see how he’s going to grow with United.

That guy covered head to toe in dirt? That’s Jaxon. Fixing equipment is his specialty, and his favourite machine to fix is the Dozer because of the raw power behind the machine. When he’s not fixing equipment, you can find Jaxon hanging out with the team or at the gym!
